Keep Your Equipment Running Properly with Air Bear Filters
The best and easiest way to make sure that your air filter is working to the best of its ability is to regularly replace the air bear filters. Your system needs to have adequate air flow for it to function properly. A clogged or dirty filter will not only stop proper air flow, but will allow dirt and particles to get into the system and then back into the air you are breathing. It would be as if you did not have an air filter at all except you would be paying the price of running one.
When you purchase the replacement filters it is important to understand that by using the right furnace filter sizes you will be helping the system. Having a filter that is too small allows for a lot of allergens to get into your breathing air. Having filters that are too big and cut down to fit will have some of the filter material being pushed into the air. This would not be any better than not having a filter in place at all.
While you are replacing filters, think of everything in the house that needs them. If you have a humidifier, replace that filter too. Something that many people overlook are vacuum filters. If you do not clean or replace them all the time, you will be spraying all the dirt and dust from your carpet back into the air. It will settle back on the floor and could make it look like you never vacuumed at all.
